Baseball Bounces Back with 8-3 Win over Bulldogs

ATHENS, GA. – As the Eagles walked off Foley Field on Friday night following a 22-9 defeat, the feeling was; "Shuman will get them tomorrow." On Saturday, sophomore Seth Shuman tossed six innings of three hit ball to lead the Eagles to an 8-3 win over Georgia to even the series. The Eagles and Bulldogs will wrap-up the series with a decisive Game Three at 1 p.m. on SEC Network +.

The Eagles scored all eight runs with two outs in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings. Shuman allowed two runs in the first inning, then settled down to retire 11 straight batters and not allow a hit.
