STATESBORO- Junior setter Kirsten Barrett earned SBC Setter of the Week for the second consecutive time and senior libero Ashlyn Lovett was named Defensive Player of the Week for a second time, the league announced on Tuesday.
Reigning Setter of the Week Barrett had another strong performance in the Eagle Invitational, named MVP after averaging 11.44 assists per set, recording 103 of them in the Eagles' 3-0 weekend and finishing with an impressive 38.3% assist mark.
She had 35+ assists in two of the contests, including 39 in three frames in the sweep of Furman on Saturday.
