STATESBORO - Georgia Southern sophomore third baseman Bailee Wilson has been named to the 2021 All-Sun Belt Conference second team, with the release of the league's yearly honors today.
Wilson earns her first All-Conference accolade for hitting .381 with nine doubles, six home runs and 27 RBI. A Sun Belt Player of the Week honoree on May 4, Wilson currently leads the Eagles in batting average, RBIs and slugging percentage and is also Georgia Southern's leading hitter in Sun Belt games, hitting .351. The Clyo, Ga., native and younger sister of former GS Academic All-American Shelby Wilson reeled off a 13-game hitting streak earlier this season, which was the fourth-longest in school history, and she currently leads the team with 16 multi-hit games.
