STATESBORO - Former Georgia Southern men's golfer Wilson Andress has earned a spot on the Collegiate Sports Communicators Men's Academic All-America At-Large team, announced today by the organization. The at-large program consists of 10 NCAA-sponsored sports.
Andress, who earned a spot on the first team, is the first men's golfer in Georgia Southern history, the 22nd Georgia Southern student-athlete and 15th male in the long history of the Academic All-America program be honored.
A two-time GCAA All-American Scholar, Andress was named to the President's List (4.0 GPA) in all 10 semesters at Georgia Southern.
