NEW ORLEANS - Georgia Southern forward Andrei Savrasov has been named second-team All-Sun Belt in a vote by the league's head coaches, the conference announced today.
Savrasov is averaging 14.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.3 assists a game for the Eagles and is shooting 50 percent from the field, which ranks fourth in the Sun Belt. In league games, the redshirt senior ranked seventh in the conference in scoring (15.2/gm), rebounding (7.8/gm) and 3-point percentage (.407). Overall, Savrasov has recorded eight double-doubles, scored 20-plus points six times and scored in double figures 22 times.
