The Georgia Southern softball team travels to Madeira Beach, Fla. this weekend to participate in the EMU Madeira Beach Spring Invitational, to face off against Abilene Christian, Eastern Michigan, Jacksonville State, Monmouth University and UMKC.
We sat down with one of the four team captains, Haley Carter, to learn a little more about the Smyrna, Tenn., native with 5 Questions.
Question 1: Why did you choose Georgia Southern University to pursue both you collegiate softball career and your degree?
