Zack Boobas is doing a little bit of everything for Jefferson.
In the Dragons’ 49-0 rout of Pepperell in the first round of the Class AAA state playoffs, he rushed for a game-high, and career-high, 189 yards to go along with two touchdowns. He led to defense with seven tackles.
Oh, and he punts, too.
“Zack is a great competitor for us for us,” Jefferson coach Ben Hall said. “He gives everything he has regardless of the role we ask him to play. He’s got to the point, offensively, where we have to rest Colby (Wood) or spell Colby at times and Zack has stepped up and been able to do that.
