Things got off to a quick start last week. Kirk Herbstreit picked Nebraska to win the B1G West only to have the Cornhuskers (and more specifically Scott Frost) snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet again like 4 hours later. We are often gifted the opportunity to see how little preseason predictions mean, but we rarely get to see someone be so very wrong in such a rapid fashion. Much later in the day, Vanderbilt was able to take Hawaii behind the woodshed and take out years of pent up aggression caused by getting absolutely run over week in and week out in the SEC.
