The No. 7 Georgia women’s tennis team is set to host No. 1 North Carolina on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 12 p.m. at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Courts.
North Carolina leads the all-time series against Georgia 10-2 with the last time these two squads squared off was in the 2019 National Indoor Championship match with Georgia coming away victorious, claiming its sixth National Championship, defeating the Tar Heels 4-3.
This will be the first time Georgia has squared off against the No. 1. team since facing off against Stanford in 2019, defeating the Cardinal 4-3 at the 2019 National Indoor Tournament.
