Georgia’s new coaching staff appears to be doing all it can to snag three-star wide receiver prospect Tyler Simmons, who currently is committed to Alabama.
Thursday night, Simmons — from McEachern High in the Atlanta suburb of Powder Springs — posted a live stream of Georgia coach Kirby Smart’s in-home visit on the social media application Periscope to give people the ability to follow the visit. You can see in the video (https://www.periscope.tv/w/1MnxnALVYOkJO) that more than a few folks showed up for the party.
Bulldogs assistants who joined Smart in the visit were offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Jim Chaney, wide receivers coach James Coley, running backs coach Dell McGee, offensive line coach Sam Pittman and defensive coordinator/secondary coach Mel Tucker.
