Georgia’s secondary has another feel-good story this spring, just like during Jeremy Pruitt’s first a year ago.
That’s when Aaron Davis went from a little-known walk-on to a player who was working with the Bulldogs’ No. 1 defensive unit.
Davis went on to start 10 games in the fall, made 40 tackles and snagged an interception.
Now it’s Reggie Wilkerson’s turn to see if he can stick after running with the first-team secondary Saturday at G-Day at the star nickel back position.
Wilkerson’s been there before, a player that moved into the rotation after arriving on scholarship from North Marion High School in Citra, Fla.
