Wide Receiver Blake Tibbs to transfer from Georgia

The University of Georgia announced that the junior from Lithonia will use his last two years of eligibility elsewhere.

"Blake and I have met and he has decided it would be in his best interest to

transfer to another institution," Georgia head coach Mark Richt said. "I certainly understand and wish him nothing but the best."

Tibbs accumulated four catches in his first two years at Georgia while appearing in 15 games. With the graduations of Chris Conley, Michael Bennett and Jonathon Rumph, Tibbs was one of the candidates vying for their reps.
