But then, four star Texas tailback Devwah Whaley publicly announced his commitment to the 'Dawgs. Whaley appears to have been privately committed to the Red and Black since September. But apparently he decided today was the day to make his plans known (thereby causing recruiting writers across the southeast to have to wait a little longer to go back through the dessert line .
