Welcome to Georgia - Jermaine Johnson II Class of 2019

Given the current news out of tOSU, you might be forgiven for not realizing Georgia nabbed four-star JUCO transfer Jermaine Johnson II today. With this addition, the Bulldogs take the top spot in the recruiting rankings from the Crimson Tide.

Jermaine comes in as the top ranked JUCO transfer for the 2019 class. At 6’ 6” and 260 lbs he played Weak-Side Defensive End for Independence Community College. He may compete with fellow 2019 recruit Nolan Smith for playing time. Primary recruiters were Glenn Schumann and Dan Lanning.

As early as July 20, Jake Rowe of 247 Sports expected this commitment so it’s not a huge surprise.
