The University of Georgia Lady Bulldog basketball team jumped out to an early lead and never trailed in a 76-44 victory Sunday afternoon at Auburn.
The win improves Georgia’s record to 9-1 overall and 1-1 in the SEC. The Lady Bulldogs have won 14 of their last 18 games dating back to last season. The team is also a perfect 4-0 on the road during the 2020-21 campaign.
Jenna Staiti led Georgia with 13 points, marking her ninth-straight double-figure scoring game. Freshman Sarah Ashlee Barker added seven points and four rebounds in a return trip back to her home state of Alabama.
