These refs in this Georgia vs Tennessee game have been less than impressive, to say the least.
Too many flags all game long, and half the time they’ve been wrong.
One example of that can be seen in the third quarter, when Georgia had the ball at the Tennessee six yard line.
Swift had just been stopped for no gain, but there was a flag in the end zone.
It was a hands to the face penalty on Georgia receiver Matt Landers.
And boy was it wrong.
The replay showed that Tennessee defensive back Bryce Thompson clearly threw a punch at Landers before the two players became more engaged and a helmet popped off.
