Watch: Georgia Scores On Controversial Fumble Return

The Georgia Bulldogs are on the board early after a controversial turnover by the Missouri Tigers. Drew Lock’s third-down pass to the first down marker got stripped by the Tyson Campbell, with a return to the house following.

Campbell, a freshman cornerback, took the Tigers’ fumble all the way to the end zone, to put Georgia up 7-0 after a promising drive from Missouri.

Missouri fans sure thought that their team had forward progress on Lock’s pass, but the referees did not blow the whistle. The play was ineligible for review and Rodrigo Blankenship kicked the extra point to make it seven for the Dawgs.
