On Saturday, Georgia held its first scrimmage of the spring in its new indoor practice facility.

Following the scrimmage, Smart seemed pleased with the way both sides of the ball competed, calling it a “really good, upbeat scrimmage.”
“The kids are buying in and competing,” Smart said of the scrimmage. “I thought both offensive units moved the ball well. Defensively we played hard. We’ve just got a lot of young guys and some guys banged up on the defensive line and it makes it tough.
