Following UGA’s huge win on Saturday against Austin Peay, junior LB D’Andre Walker spoke to Emily Gagnon of CBS46 Atlanta for a short time.
Walker, out of Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, GA, discussed a few different things about the game, including:
- Being the first on the team to don the savage spikes in the new season, as he recovered a Jeremiah Oatsvall (Austin Peay QB) fumble late in the first quarter.
- How he misses playing with Roquan Smith
- When asked about how Georgia’s win over Austin Peay will get momentum going as they prepare for SC, Walker replied: “Momentum builds confidence.
