Georgia freshman defensive back Deangelo Gibbs has been the talk of spring practice in Athens.
After enrolling early in January, Gibbs already has been seeing time with the first team in the Bulldogs’ secondary.
But before all that, he was a four-star prospect from Loganville (Ga.) Grayson who was considered a top-five safety prospect and top-50 player overall in the 2017 recruiting class. And it was there when he showed he was an elite prospect.

Ultimately, he chose Georgia over Alabama and Auburn, the other two schools in his final three.
