VIDEO: Georgia Bulldogs Showcase Remarkable Comeback Of Running Back

Two years ago, things changed forever for Georgia Bulldogs running back Keith Marshall. After suffering a devastating ACL injury in the 2013 game against the Tennessee Volunteers, Marhsall would take almost two years to recover and get back on the field. He did Saturday in the team’s 2015 opener against Louisiana-Monroe, scoring two touchdowns.

Georgia’s athletic department profiled his injury and recovery as part of their video series, Beneath The Helmet:

One quote from the video got to me and makes you realize how quickly things can change … and how the people around you can be affected just as much as you are when something like this happens:

“When I got hit, I knew right away something was wrong,” Marshall says during the video.
