By the time Georgia’s 26-24 win over Nicholls State concluded Saturday, Isaiah McKenzie’s stat line looked a lot like the Bulldogs performance.
A few positives — and some glaring mistakes.
“We weren’t proud of how we played,” McKenzie said. “Some people’s heads were down. We weren’t excited. But that’s what happens when we don’t prepare the right way during the week.”
McKenzie’s start was solid — a 12-yard run from the junior wide receiver contributed to Georgia’s opening touchdown drive.
