No charges will be filed against Georgia wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie for an incident Monday night at an Athens Chili’s restaurant.
A female had told police that McKenzie had threatened her with what was characterized as “terroristic threats,” but the case isn’t proceeding.
“The victim declined to prosecute so as far as we are concerned the investigation is over,” Athens-Clarke County police spokesperson Hilda Sorrow said Wednesday.
McKenzie was accompanied by four Georgia teammates at about 10:45 p.m. Monday when the incident occurred.
The initial police report was turned over to an investigator, but Sorrow did not know when the investigator spoke with the accuser.
