His former head coach, Mark Richt, now has that job at Miami, the program Michel was a fan of growing up in South Florida.
Bryan McClendon, the assistant coach who was Michel’s main recruiter for Georgia, is heading to South Carolina to be co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach after Saturday’s TaxSlayer Bowl.
