Former Georgia running back Elijah Holyfield surprised some when he announced he’d be heading to the NFL.
The big, bruising ball carrier had a successful career in Athens, and really showcased his talents last season, his junior year, when the backfield cleared up a bit. With the departures of Sony Michel and Nick Chubb, it left Holyfield and D’Andre Swift as the two primary backs to lead the Bulldogs.
Holyfield was best known for his ability to run over a defender, however, while at the NFL Scouting Combine, the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield mentioned that he does have a some elusiveness to his game.
