There’s been some question as to whether UGA starting quarterback Jake Fromm will stay with the program after the upcoming 2019 season or instead enter the NFL Draft, but Fromm himself seems to think that regardless, the future of UGA is in good hands with freshman quarterback Dwan Mathis.
“The guy can run the ball around; he can throw it 70 yards,” Fromm told a group of reporters. “He’s going to be a good player.”
Mathis, who was originally committed to Ohio State, flipped his decision on the first day of the early signing period, taking his talents to Athens instead.
