2021 Georgia football signee Brock Vandagriff has been named one of three finalist for the Gatorade National Player of the Year award. The five-star quarterback was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Georgia already.
Vandagriff also earned 2020 Atlanta Touchdown Club “Mr. Georgia Football” honors and was named the 2020 National Quarterback of the Year by the National Quarterback Club and was named the 2020 Atlanta Journal-Constitution 2020 State Player of the Year.
As a senior in 2020 at Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Ga., Vandagriff led the Wolverines to a 13-1 overall record and the Class 1A private state championship, completing 252 of 356 passes for 4,169 yards, 46 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, while rushing for 503 yards on 104 carries and 17 touchdowns.
