Georgia has set a date for one its nonconference football games in 2017.

Samford will visit Sanford Stadium on Sept. 16, 2017, the week after Georgia plays at Notre Dame. The amended game contract, signed by Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity last Friday, was released Thursday to the Athens Banner-Herald under an open records request.
Georgia is playing $500,000 for the game against the FCS opponent located in Birmingham, Ala.
