UGA football quick hitters: OLBs honor coach Kevin Sherrer’s family & more…

Georgia’s outside linebackers wrote the initials “RBS” on their wrist bands and towels for last Saturday’s game as a tribute to Rasha Breann Sherrer, the sister of Georgia assistant coach Kevin Sherrer. She was found dead in a double homicide last week in Alabama. “Coach Sherrer is a father figure to all of us,” sophomore Davin Bellamy said. “If he’s hurting then we are, too.” Bellamy said the outside linebackers were playing for both their coach and his sister. Sherrer left the team during the game week, but returned in time for Saturday’s game.
