UGA falls at Saint Mary’s in NIT second round

MORAGA, Calif. | The Georgia Bulldog men’s basketball team fell to Saint Mary’s 77-65 Sunday night in the second round of the National Invitational Tournament at the McKeon Pavilion.

Georgia concludes the season with a record of 20-14 overall and 10-8 in the Southeastern Conference. Saint Mary’s moves to 29-5 overall and 15-3 in the West Coast Conference. Tonight’s game was the first meeting between the schools.

Georgia had four players finish the night with double-figure scoring outputs. Charles Mann and J.J. Frazier led the way with 13 points each, while Yante Maten and Kenny Gaines finished with 12 and 11, respectively.
