Junior corner back Tyson Campbell (6’2, 190) started the first three games for the Bulldogs in 2019 before a toe injury sidelined him for a majority of the season.
In the games Campbell was able to play, he performed at a high level. The Ft. Lauderdale, Florida native totaled 15 tackles, four pass breakups, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown in 2019.
Campbell will be eligible for the 2021 NFL Draft next season along with the majority of the dominant 2019 Georgia defense. One thing Georgia coach Kirby Smart has brought to the UGA program in recent years is NFL intrigue.
