UGA Basketball loses key assistant to Kennesaw State

The day after signing day, Georgia Basketball lost its assistant coach Amir-Abdur Rahim to Kennesaw State. Rahim helped Georgia secure a top ten recruiting class and then left to be head coach at Kennesaw St.

This move was done after signing day, so UGA’s recruits wouldn’t flip. One has to wonder if UGA’s recruits are upset at this. Specifically Jaykwon Walton, who Rahim spear-headed the recruiting process for. Walton has not tweeted any response to the move.
