According to Teshaun Hightower’s latest tweets, it appears the sophomore guard is leaving the Georgia men’s basketball program. Hightower, a former three-star prospect, looks to be transferring out of Athens and pursuing other opportunities for next season as he mentions below.
The Lithonia native has two years of eligibility remaining going into the 2019-20 season.
In 29 games this season, the sophomore guard averaged 6.6 points and had 17 starts. Hightower played 505 minutes this year at Georgia, up from 322 last year.
However, after recording a career-high 18 points against Texas, his playing time decreased towards the end of the season.
