Greg McGarity, the Athletic Director for the University of Georgia, will be returning for another year in Athens.
According to a report from DawgNation at the UGA Athletic Association board meeting, McGarity is receiving a one-year contract extension to remain in his current role with the program and a raise that has not been disclosed.
The longtime Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of Florida began his tenure at Georgia in 2010, replacing Damon Evans, who is now with the University of Maryland in the same position.
McGarity previously had a $675,000 contract, which was the second lowest amongst other athletic directors around the SEC.
