Georgia’s athletic department does not look like it will have wholesale changes, according to the words from University of Georgia president Jere Morehead. If there are changes, they won’t likely involve athletic director Greg McGarity.
“I still have confidence in our athletic program,” Morehead said via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I think our prospects for the future are bright and I don’t have any reason to think that we’ve got any systemic problems that have to be addressed at this point.”
Morehead made these comments after a cabinet meeting at the main Athens campus.
