ATHENS, Ga. – When Nick Chubb last played at Neyland Stadium, his football career changed forever.

Now, he’ll soon be back.

“I’m ready,” Chubb said after Georgia’s 31-3 win over Mississippi State on Saturday night.

It was there on Oct. 10, 2015 when Chubb, on the first offensive play of the game against Tennessee, tore his PCL, MCL and LCL in his left knee. In an instant his season over and his future, or at least if he would ever be the same, was in some doubt.

Still, Georgia coach Kirby Smart doesn’t think Chubb will be thinking about his past history there as he and the Bulldogs prepare for the Volunteers.
