Trey Dean’s recruitment is down to 10 programs, yet two stand out.
Georgia and Texas are “most definitely” two of the top contenders for the Dutchtown product. Along with those two, Dean officially narrowed down his list to Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina and UCLA on June 9.
Since releasing the list, Dean has taken trips to Michigan, Notre Dame and Texas. The Longhorns are known for their facilities, pedigree and are expected to have a bright future under new head coach Tom Herman.
Despite being nearly 1,000 miles away, the chances have become increasingly realistic to land the Peach State target.
