The Southeastern Conference has just released its list for week one players of the week. Two bulldogs were named to the list following a 30 – 6 win against Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Graduate senior kicker Rodrigo Blankenship went 3 for 3 on field goals, including a 50 yarder. Blankenship hit all his extra points, moving him to 3rd all-time in SEC history with 157 consecutive PATs made. He was named the SEC special teams player of the week.
Georgia offensive left tackle Andrew Thomas was also on the list, with the SEC naming him offensive lineman of the week.
