Twitter reacts: Houston, BYU, UCF, and Cincinnati joining Big 12

Houston, BYU, UCF, and Cincinnati are joining the Big 12 in the latest conference reshuffle. Earlier this summer, Texas and Oklahoma announced that they’d be joining the SEC.

The Big 12 had to act fast to keep their conference going for the future. With the future additions and subtractions, the Big 12 will now have 12 teams instead of 10. The conference will continue to be strong in basketball, but lacks powerhouses in football.

Still, the additions of BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, and Houston give the conference more depth and should help offset the lost of its two premier programs.
