Kirby Smart got a huge win to begin the season. Georgia’s defense looked elite and held Clemson to just 180 yards of total offense. Georgia junior defensive back Christopher Smith had second quarter pick-six, which changed the course of the game.
JT Daniels threw for only 135 yards, but was efficient and only had one turnover. Georgia’s defense picked up the slack and looked dominant.
