The Oakland Raiders signed former Georgia Bulldogs RB Isaiah Crowell, formerly with the New York Jets, to a one year contract today. The deal is worth $2.5 million per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
It is safe to assume the deal is not fully guaranteed and may have incentives, since Schefter specified that it is “worth up to $2.5 million”.
The New York Jets released Crowell following their splash free agent signing of RB Le’Veon Bell.
The Oakland Raiders are one of the most running back needy teams in the NFL. Their current backfield situation features only Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington.
