The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to trade OLB Justin Houston, and if they can’t find a potential new suitor, then they plan to release the 3rd-round pick from Georgia. Houston carries a massive contract, that was once the largest of any defensive player in the NFL at six years, $101 million. Houston is due more than $15 million per year on the two years left on his contract. This will subdue the trade market for Houston, who is still a productive player after racking up nine plus sacks in each of the past two seasons.
Even with his large contract, he is still garnering interest on the trade market.
