Georgia’s junior offensive lineman Trey Hill has been named to the Outland Trophy watch list.
The trophy is awarded annually to college football’s best interior lineman, named after the 19th century All-American tackle and halfback John H. Outland.
Hill will likely be the centerpiece of the Georgia offensive line in 2020. The Dawgs lost key pieces in the trenches this offseason with the departure of Andrew Thomas, Isaiah Wilson and Solomon Kindley (all NFL draft selections). On top of that, junior tackle Cade Mays transferred to Tennessee after an unusual fallout.
Hill saw time in all 14 games in 2018, starting the final four games at right guard.
