It was learned today that Mark Richt will step down as head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs following the team’s bowl game — despite going 9-3 this year and 145-51 in 15 seasons — so the coaching search is on.
It just so happens that Georgia’s head coaching position is going to be one of the most attractive to those either looking for head coaching jobs or looking to move on to a bigger opportunity, so plenty of names should surface.
Thankfully, for Georgia, there are plenty of candidates out there with ties to both the SEC and Georgia’s program.
