After a concerning start to Kirby Smart’s first season as Georgia coach, this win over could go a long way toward settling down the fan base.
“I thought he needed a signature win, didn’t you?” Frangie asked.
Barnhart agreed.
“That’s exactly what it was,” he said. “It was a signature win. Every first-year coach has to have a win somewhere where people go, ‘You know, that guy knows what he’s doing.
