Over the last 20 or so - since I got out of the TV business - I get home for at least one Georgia home game. Yesterday, I flew up from the still sticky and steamy swamps of western Broward to God’s country: The O.C., Watkinsville, “The ‘Ville,” - home of “Coming Soon: Oconee Plaza” (those of you from here know what I’m talking about. And they finally built that sucker with vengeance), restaurant row (a.k.a. downtown Watkinsville), country traffic jams and still very friendly people.
Like clockwork, my dad diligently submits his ticket order every season, and since he’s been grandfathered in as retired faculty (I’m assuming this is how it works), he still gets 2 tickets.
