Georgia’s 2018 recruiting class is good. And it just keeps getting better, most recently with the commitment of elite 2018 tailback James Cook. Cook, the younger brother of former FSU star Dalvin Cook, chose the ‘Dawgs over offers from all the usual suspects: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Miami, FSU (to whom he previously committed), Michigan, Ohio State, and USC.
It’s an offer list you would expect for a guy rated the #3 tailback in the nation and one of the top five players in the state of Florida according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. While the nation’s #1 rated tailback, fellow UGA commit Zamir White, is a bruising north/south runner, Cook is a slashing speed merchant with excellent hands in the passing game as well.
