Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis was a man of his word when he said he would play in Super Bowl 50 against the Denver Broncos. Davis, a former star safety at Georgia, started at linebacker for the Panthers on Sunday less than two weeks after surgery on his broken right forearm, which was suffered on the NFC title game win over Arizona.
Davis posted a picture of his post-surgery arm Monday morning. It’s not for the squeamish.
This post is not about me, or how tough I am. It's not to shine any light on me or my injuries.
