When UGA opened its 2018/19 football season against Austin Peay, everyone knew it would be a walk in the park (all due respect to Nicholls State two years ago, but now that was then, this is now.) What Dawg fans may not have fully anticipated, however, was the consistent play throughout the game; Georgia’s level of dominance did not drop off when the third and fourth stringers came in in the second half.
This sentiment was echoed by UGA personalities on social media who were delighted with the depth of this year’s squad.
My biggest and perhaps greatest observation from today’s #UGA game:
When Georgia had its 3rd/4th stringers in garbage time, the talent on the field would be 2nd String at worst at most SEC schools.
