It wasn’t always pretty, but Georgia played a good enough first half to stake themselves to a 30-0 lead against the overmatched Samford Bulldogs.
Stetson Bennett completed a solid 20 of 28 passes but had some catchable balls dropped and a couple more that were just really well defended by the visitors. Kenny McIntosh remains a weapon both by ground and air, where he’s again the Dawgs’ leading receiver so far with 5 catches for 61 yards.
The Bulldog defense on the other hand has prevented the Fightin’ Chris Hatchers from doing much of anything, allowing a total of 59 yards of offense on only 23 snaps.
